Sunset Church - A Place Where Kids Matter!

Did you know that 83% of all believers in Christ made the choice to follow him before the age of 13?(G. Barna) Given this statistic we have made the decision to spare no expense when it comes to reaching the kids of our generation. Our aim is to create a safe, fun, exciting, and attractive environment that will keep kids coming back week after week. In doing this we will have the opportunity to complete our ultimate goal, which is to present Christ in a very real way so each child can have a personal relationship with him.

A message from the Children’s’ Pastor

It is my deepest desire to see kids reached with the gospel of Jesus and their lives forever changed by its good news. I do not believe that our kids are the church of tomorrow; I believe that they are the church of today. I’ll let you in on a little secret, I actually believe that children’s ministry is the most important ministry that goes on in any local church, and it’s not just something that we do so the adults can have big church without any distractions. With this in mind we are endeavouring to lay a spiritual foundation in the lives of our kids that will last them throughout the rest of their lives and we want your children to join us.

Sunset Sunday School (Pre-School – Grade 5)

It is our goal to make this hour & a half the best 90 minutes of every kid’s week.

Children sign in at the kid’s booth and at 10:30 am, we kick off the day with music, singing, games, puppets, a creative Bible lesson, and much, much more. If you are in pre-school to grade 5 you are welcome to be part of the fun.

At 11:00 A.M. we break off into small groups where your child receives close personal attention from one of our small group leaders.

Once you check us out you won’t ever want to leave.

Dyna-Mites (Kindergarten – Grade 5)

Dyna-Mites is one “Explosive” kids program that you won’t want to miss.

Every Tuesday night through the school year we have one awesome time with our
Dyna-Mite kids. We have singing, games, crazy activities, prizes, draw giveaways, candy, and the list goes on and on.

DM is an outreach program where we bring kids in from all over the city to share Christ with them in a very dynamic, power packed hour.

From 6:30P.M. To 7:30P.M you can come be part of the most happening mid-week kids program around. To find out if our DM bus goes by your neighbourhood just give us a call. And even if it doesn’t, feel free to drop in on your own.
